  We loved Villa La Estancia in Cabo! We went as a family of 7 for Christmas vacation and would come back every year. We ate at La Casona one night... read more and was served by Jonathon Gilberto; he was an excellent server and made our dining experience amazing. The seafood risotto is to die for and they bright out 3 course appetizers/palette cleansers which were good. Very expensive but a fun and delicious experience. We also ate at The Office which is downtown and a most go place! The atmosphere is wonderful and you eat at tables on the sand. The octopus was really good, lobster bisque is to die for, and sea bass fish tacos were really good. The fried red snapper was underwhelming, definitely get something else. We visited the Resort’s spa twice and got a massage and facial. They are both wonderful and you have access to the relaxing area with a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, cold tub, and showers for the full day to come and go. I had Alma for my massage and facial and she’s wonderful! Definitely ask for her if you go. They are also very accommodating; a family member was 6 months pregnant at the time and they made accommodations for her which was very nice. For excursions, we didn’t plan any but Paco talked to us on the beach and we decided to do snorkeling on a beach that afternoon and it was so much fun! There were a lot of fish to see by the reefs and we stayed for 2 hours snorkeling and laying on the beach. They also have sunset cruises, jet skis, tubing I believe. Paco, Luis, and Ramos are 3 brothers that are not associated with the resort but they walk up and down the beach and sell those amenities and they are fabulous!! Definitely ask for them if visiting. There is free pickle ball and tennis on top of a cafe and little market at the resort. The cleaning ladies come every other day and go above and beyond to clean our place. The beach chairs are a fight to get so I would recommend getting up early around 8am and saving chairs for the day. On the first day we went to Costco (5 minutes away) and got groceries for the week when we didn’t eat out and that worked wonderfully for us. Villa La Estancia was the most gorgeous resort we have stayed at and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!!
